The Community Engagement Department provides vital support to city departments in planning and carrying out their engagement efforts. Our team is composed of professionals with lived experience, deep passion, and expertise in effective public engagement. We offer training, coaching, and hands-on assistance for city projects, programs, and initiatives seeking to connect with the public.
Our focus includes capacity-building efforts, such as leading our Community Engagement Liaisons, and active participation in leadership teams associated to our strategic plan. From simple consultations to developing and implementing strategic engagement plans, our division has played a key role in many significant projects across the city.
