Climate Action and Sustainability

Future proofing Raleigh

In 2019, Raleigh's City Council established the goal of achieving an 80 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050. Raleigh's Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP) set a course to reach that goal, and all City of Raleigh departments and Raleigh residents have a part to play.

The City of Raleigh believes that we can address the global threat of climate change while building our economic strength.
