Electrify the Triangle helps people save money on energy bills, improve health, boost resilience, and work towards a cleaner planet. It's a public-private partnership between the City of Raleigh, four other local governments, and Central Pines Regional Council and Let’s Go Electric. This program builds on the success of the award-winning and record-breaking Solarize the Triangle program.

Two ways to get started

Residents can choose the path that works best for them:

Save money and build a stronger community

Interested in electric vehicle charging? Or maybe a heat pump or induction stove is the right fit for your household. Even electric lawn equipment will be offered through this program.

Electrify the Triangle also supports Raleigh's Community Climate Action Plan. The City's goal is to cut greenhouse gas emissions 80% by 2050 while supporting resilience and social advancement. Every home upgrade helps move Raleigh closer to that goal  while building community resilience and advancing social impact for residents.

Getting started
