We are building a pedestrian bridge that spans over Wade Avenue/I440 and a new multi-use path along Blue Ridge Road from just north of Trinity Road to Reedy Creek Road. The project also includes Raleigh's first protected intersection.

Construction is underway on this project. There may be intermittent lane closures as the work progresses.

Construction crews are actively working on the Lake Boone Trail Improvement Project. You may experience travel delays due to temporary lane closures.

A section of the Crabtree Creek Trail between Alleghany Drive and the north side of I-440 is closed due to a N.C. Department of Transportation project to rehabilitate a vehicular bridge that passes over the trail. A detour is available for use along Alleghany Drive, Yadkin Drive, Currituck Drive, Chowan Circle, and through North Hills Park. View Detour Map.

A section of the Neuse River Trail is closed near the intersection of U.S. 401/Ligon Mill Road/Mitchell Mill Road with a detour available, due to a N.C. A section of the Rocky Branch Trail is closed between Blue Ridge Road and I-440 due to a stream restoration project being administered by the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA). A detour is available utilizing trails through the NCMA park. View the Detour Map and Trail Closure.

Due to the rebuild of the Chestnut Hills electrical substation by Duke Energy, the tee box for hole 8 at the Cedar Hills Park disc golf course is currently within the construction area and inaccessible to park visitors.

The area is expected to remain closed until the end of 2025. Please play from hole 7 directly to hole 9.  A temporary disc golf hole is in place between holes 13 and 14 with the tee pad located near the comfort station.

Field status is updated daily around 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and around 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Coaches and or team managers, any changes in field status beyond this point will be communicated to you through your league administrator.

June 17 is Code Yellow, which indicates that all field games and activities will be an onsite decision.

Raleigh Parks aquatic facilities may have limited capacities, hours of operation, or reduced amenities available due to staffing.
