In 2019-2020, volunteers collected more than 18,650 pounds of trash from streams. Although our volunteer activities were on hold for most of 2020, we appreciate all the work that our volunteers were able to do!

We coordinated safely with 52 volunteer groups to protect some of our most high-priority areas. Volunteers worked in small groups following social distancing guidelines. They cleaned up and monitored streams, like Walnut Creek and Crabtree Creek. Thanks for reducing water pollution and protecting the environment.

You can help too! Volunteer with us for the day or on a more long-term basis. Once you find the program that's right for you, we'll provide everything you need to get started.
