Regional Creek Week

Raleigh Stormwater is collaborating with other agencies across NC and the Clean Water Education Partnership (CWEP) to celebrate Regional Creek Week! During this week, we will host events, workshops, and other activities to promote healthy creeks, streams, and rivers!

• March 20 at 5:00 PM - Biothon at Wooten Meadow Park
• March 22 at 9:30 AM - Streambank Planting at Durant Nature Preserve
• March 22 at 2:30 PM - Rain Garden Rain Barrel Workshop

Regional Creek Week 2024 Summary

Thank you to all volunteers and participants for Regional Creek Week 2024! Check out our engagement stats for the week!

• 74 volunteers participated in 7 total events (Rain Garden & Rain Barrel workshop and various staffed/unstaffed cleanups)
• Volunteers collected 2,935 pounds of trash from Southgate Branch, Perry Creek, Turkey Branch, Walnut Creek, and Crabtree Creek
• Raleigh residents participated in the CWEP Wandering Water Map Photo Challenge
