Stormwater Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project

Repairing Pipes in Poor Condition

We will use internal pipe lining that does not require digging to repair pipes across the city in poor condition. We will use UV Cured Liner which is durable and long lasting, hardens rapidly, and minimizes digging and disturbance. Repairs will be bundled in multiple locations and separate updates will be provided for each bundle.

Construction

Rehab Bundle 2

Our contractor, US Infra Rehab Services LLC, will line and repair 3,515 feet of stormwater pipes across 5 sites. Construction is anticipated to begin October 2026 and be completed by April 2027. The site locations are:

  • Dixie Trail at Everette Avenue
  • Logan Court at Hillsborough Street
  • Second Star Court and Darling Street
  • North Boylan Avenue at West North Street
  • Leonard Street at Dogwood Lane

What To Expect

Normal work hours will be Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm during the project period. Traffic impacts closures may vary by location and will range from flagging and light traffic control to temporary lane or street closures. For the most part, local traffic (residents within the work zone) will have access to their driveways and will be able to come and go as needed.
