Construction

We will repair about 3,400 feet of stormwater pipes in poor condition which totals the length of 10 football fields! Construction began late August 2025 and will last 6 months.

November 2025 Update

From November to December 2025, we will install new stormwater drains along Glenwood Avenue, from Hillsborough Street to West Jones Street. Once the drains are installed, the existing stormwater pipe will be repaired with minimal road disturbance.

What To Expect

There will be traffic impacts at each project location from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm during the project period. Traffic closures will range from flagging and light traffic control to temporary lane or street closures. For the most part, local traffic (residents within the work zone) will have access to their driveways and will be able to come and go as needed.
