Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs

This project will use innovative rehabilitation methods to repair pipes that minimizes surface disturbance. The City of Raleigh has identified 13 sites where stormwater pipes have been determined to be in poor condition. The project will use internal repair techniques without the need to dig and replace.

Planning

We identified high risk stormwater infrastructure in need of repair at various locations through the City. We are working with a consultant to assist in analysis and design of repairs for the stormwater pipes.

Proposed Upgrades

The work will address the poor condition of the stormwater pipes and renew the life of the pipe.

Design

The consultant will look at inspection data and site conditions to determine recommendations for pipe rehabilitation. After the analysis, the consultant will design the repairs for the storm drains.

Project Goals

Rehabilitate approximately 4,500 feet of poor condition stormwater pipes ranging in diameter from 12 inches to 84 inches.
