Brookhaven Drive Sidewalk Project

We are installing a new sidewalk!

The Brookhaven Drive sidewalk project is the product of a successful petition the City received in the Fall of 2019.

The new sidewalk is proposed to run along the south side of Brookhaven Drive from Rembert Drive northward towards Wildwood Street with existing sidewalk to be replaced extending from York Elementary School.

City Council has authorized staff to design and construct the sidewalk improvements as funding and staff resources become available.

Funding has been allocated for this project. We are hiring a consultant to design the project and plan to advertise the project for construction bids in summer 2024, with construction planned to begin in the fall.
