The following street closings are due to scheduled special events such as festivals, road races, walks, and parades, in addition to construction projects. Some of these activities will affect certain traffic patterns across Raleigh over the next several months.

Atlantic Avenue Construction

Please drive slow through the construction site

Crews are actively working on the Atlantic Avenue Improvement Project. There may be temporary lane closures during this work. 

For your safety, and that of the construction crews working on this project, please drive slowly through the construction zone.

Poole Road Widening Project - Construction is underway

Please drive slowly through the work zone.

Expect Delays on Poole Road from Maybrook Drive to Barwell Road

Crews continue working along Poole Road. Traffic has been switched to new temporary pavement while they work on building the other side of the new roadway. Please use caution while traveling through this area. 

There will be lanes closures and possible delays during this weekend work.
