Wilmington Street Closures

Plan ahead if you're traveling through S. Wilmington Street and E. Lenoir Street. An intersection closure and alternating lane closure for a Capital Improvement Project may cause traffic impacts and delays. A detour will be in place.

S. Wilmington Street and E. Lenoir Street: Intersection and lane closures

The intersection of S. Wilmington Street and E. Lenoir Street will be closed, and one lane of S. Wilmington Street, between E. South Street and E. Cabarrus Street, will remain open. No street parking will be permitted during work hours. Drivers should follow posted detour signs, slow down and use alternate routes when possible.
