Upper Walnut Creek Sanitary Sewer Improvements

Improvement project will replace aging materials to meet future infrastructure capacity demand.

Upper Walnut Creek Sewer Interceptor Replacement – The project consists of a much-needed sewer interceptor replacement from the Walnut Creek softball complex on Sunnybrook Road to South State Street. This major artery of the City of Raleigh’s wastewater system is at overcapacity and is showing signs of deterioration. A new 6o-inch diameter line will be installed to replace the existing 42-inch lines.
