Buck Jones Road Water and Sewer Replacement

Improvement project will replace aging materials to meet future infrastructure capacity demand.

Construction is set to begin on September 9, 2024. Residents will notice the contractor mobilizing to the site as well as the staging of pipe and equipment in preparation for installation the week of September 16, 2024. Pipe and manhole installation is set to begin the week of September 30, 2024. Project is expected to last for 8 months.

Traffic Alert: Full Closure for the 600 Block of South Lakeside Drive/ 5100 Block of Jeffries Street for a Planned Capital Improvement Project

          The City of Raleigh will close the 600 block of South Lakeside Drive and the 5100 block of Jeffries Street, Raleigh NC, for a planned capital improvement project starting Monday, December 16, 2024. Work on South Lakeside Drive and Jeffries Street is estimated to be complete in 8 to 10 weeks, although work schedules are dependent on weather and other factors.
