Raleigh Youth Council (RYC)
The Raleigh Youth Council is a forum for high school students to freely express their ideas and opinions and serve as advocates for teens throughout Wake County. The council serves as an opportunity for teenagers to share in civic engagements, leadership opportunities, community service, recreational outings, fundraising events, and participate in special events such as the Youth Legislative Assembly and State Youth Council Conferences. Living Life as an Art (LLAA)
Living Life as an Art is a program for high school students designed to bridge the gap between work and play by exploring the everyday connections between creativity, community, and personal growth. Participants will create artwork, experiment with design, participate in hands-on activities, take field trips, and engage in volunteer projects. LLAA is all about discovering who you are, building new skills, and making an impact - all while having fun! If you are a teenager seeking to discover more about yourself, deepen your understanding of your local environment, and strengthen collaboration within your community, apply today and join us for our first meeting on October 15, 2025.
Apply for LLAA Fall 2025 - Spring 2026
