Court Lighting Types
- Push Button
Lights do not come on unless a participant activates the lights. The lights stay on for approximately one (1) hour. At that time a buzzer sounds and the participant must push the button again for the lights to stay on. The lights go out automatically if the button is not pushed. (At some sites the system is set so that only 2 or 4 courts are activated at a time). If the lights go out, it will take 15 minutes to restart. - Timer
The lights are controlled by a timer that turns the lights on between dusk and 10 p.m. - Manual
Staff turns the lights on and off.

Pickleball
Raleigh Parks has outdoor pickleball courts located throughout Raleigh.
These courts are open from dusk until 10 p.m. with lighting on a timer. Players are asked to follow all posted rules regarding rotating courts.
