We need to install a stormwater system with the new sidewalk along Norris Street. The stormwater system adds a substantial amount to the scope and price of the project. In addition, we have several public utilities (water and sewer lines) that must also be avoided with the project's design. These items, along with staff turnover, have delayed this project. A new schedule is listed below.

Group 7 Sidewalk & Street Improvements

This schedule is tentative and subject to change. 

October 2025

Crews plan to begin work on Norris Street in spring 2026, after completing the other Group 7 sidewalk locations. This will be the final street in the group. Construction will start with storm drainage installation, followed by asphalt paving.
