Together Raleigh was conceived by local leaders in the public and private sectors to make GoRaleigh’s bus shelters inviting and beautiful by adding public art.
The Raleigh Transit Authority approved the list of bus shelters to be available for the project. The bus shelters were selected based on how many riders use the shelter, the visibility of the shelter, and the location of the shelter. Raleigh Arts facilitated the selection of artists and the installation of art.
Local artists created a total of eleven artworks for Together Raleigh 2021.
There are two easy ways to experience the bus shelter artworks.
