Raleigh Water Holiday Closure Notice

Raleigh Water will be closed for business on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving. We will resume regular business hours at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1.

During this time, customers can still manage their accounts using our interactive voice-response system by calling 919-996-3245 or online via the Raleigh Water Self-Service portal.

For those registering on the new portal, we appreciate your patience as we work diligently to improve the billing registration process. Please remember to use your mobile phone number when registering. Thank you for your understanding!

You'll Need Your Account Number to Register

Your account number can be found on your monthly bill. If you don't have access to your most recent statement (printed copy or an email,) that's okay! The easiest solution is to simply wait and complete your registration once your next bill comes in.

  • All e-bill/paperless bill users receive an email with subject “City of Raleigh - Your Utility Bill is Available.”

Please Note

  • Already registered? You can log in as needed on the new Raleigh Water Self-Service site.
  • Encountered past registration issues? We will contact you by email with more information.
  • Need to make a payment? Use the "Pay as Guest" option online for a one-time payment, pay in person downtown or at any merger community town hall, mail a check, set up bank bill pay by contacting your bank, visit any area Walmart, or call 888-905-3169.

If you have more questions, please call 919-996-3245 or email us at raleighwaterselfservice@raleighnc.gov.

Late fees and service disconnections are suspended until further notice.

In case of a water or sewer emergency during the holiday, please call Raleigh Water’s emergency hotline at 919-996-3245.
