    Neuse River Trail Alert

Between Mile Marker 22 and 23.25

    Affected Date
    -

The Complete 540 project will extend the Triangle Expressway from the N.C. 55 Bypass in Apex to Interstate 87/U.S. 64/U.S. 264 in Knightdale, joining the outer 540 loop around the greater Raleigh area. Construction of this project will require periodic stoppages of trail traffic, between Auburn Knightdale Rd and Battle Bridge Rd, to allow construction equipment and vehicles to cross the trail.

Temporary closures will periodically be in place as construction advances. During trail closures, a temporary detour trail will be in place adjacent to the existing Neuse River Trail, allowing trail users to pass through this corridor during the entire construction process.
