Construction early 2024 on Harps Mill Road and Grist Mill Road. This project has a contract time of 16 months and is projected to be completed by May 2025.

Construction Details

Construction will begin September 16 and is anticipated to be completed December 2024. Work includes replacing the existing headwall and implementing outlet improvements between 3645 Greywood Dr. and 3912 Old Creek Ct.

Work hours will be Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with no work scheduled on the weekend except in an emergency or with prior approval from the City. Traffic detours may be set during the above periods, with sections of roadways closed to through traffic. Residents living within the construction limits will, however, keep access to their driveways during construction.

Raleigh Stormwater crews will begin construction the week of September 23, 2024 to update stormwater piping on Courtland Drive.

What You Can Expect

• We are planning for total construction to be approximately eight to ten weeks depending on weather, to be completed during the week of November 25, 2024.
• Work hours will be Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no work scheduled on the weekend, except in an emergency or with prior approval from the City. You will be notified if such schedule changes need to take place.

Road Closures

We will have to close the road to through traffic during construction. Detours will be added to divert traffic around the construction area. Local residents will have access to their driveways and will be able to come and go as needed except when the pipe installation directly impacts their driveways.
