Undersized stormwater pipe on Cambridge Way

Stormwater

Cambridge Woods Way Drainage Improvements

Drainage Assistance Program

We are repairing the stormwater system near Cambridge Woods Way. Properties experience flooding from the way stormwater runoff flows in this area.  Water goes:

  • From Yarmouth Road, Chesterfield Road, and Edenburgh Road;
  • To the intersection of Lake Boone Trail and Edenburgh Road; and,
  • To backyards on Cambridge Woods Way.

Design

We are working a hydraulic study for the proposed design for this project. The design plans will redirect stormwater flows to an upgraded stormwater system on Lake Boone Trail. This will reduce the:

  • Amount of water on the public street; and,
  • Flooding concerns at properties on Cambridge Woods Way.

This project is being combined with the Lake Boone Trail Street and Sidewalk Project during design and construction.  The design is expected to be completed in Winter 2024.
