During Phase 2 of Reflecting Raleigh, the City will work with a Civic Assembly and Technical Teams of subject matter experts to develop goals, policies, and actions based on what we learned in Phase 1.
Civic Assembly
The Civic Assembly is a group of 40 people chosen by lottery who broadly represent the City of Raleigh based on characteristics like age, race, and ethnicity. Raleigh’s Civic Assembly is convening over several Saturdays to learn about and make recommendations on how the neighborhoods around Raleigh’s frequent transit network should grow and develop over the next 20 years.
Technical Teams
Alongside the Civic Assembly, five Technical Teams of subject matter experts are meeting to provide technical policy recommendations related to land use, transportation, housing and neighborhoods, natural resources, and infrastructure and services.
