The group is part of the North Carolina’s Task Force 8 Urban Search and Rescue team which includes Chapel Hill Fire, Durham Fire, and Wake EMS. The team could be in Kentucky for as long as two weeks.
Teresa Langley (middle) presented a $50,000 gift to the Raleigh Police Department's K9 Unit on behalf of the estate of Virginia Lea Parker. Chief Boyce and several members of the Raleigh Police Department were present to show their appreciation.
