Engage Raleigh Expo Set for Sept. 13
Explore ways to participate in local community decision-making
Updated: Jul 16, 2025
About the Expo
This FREE event aims to connect residents, neighborhoods, community groups, and local government. Discover why community engagement matters, learn about how you can make a difference, and explore exciting ways to participate in local decision-making in your community.
What is the Goal of the Expo?
We designed the expo with three goals in mind:
- To encourage all residents to participate in local decision-making;
- To celebrate and collaborate with Raleigh's diverse community; and,
- To connect residents with City departments, community organizations, and other resources in their communities.
Be an Exhibitor
We’re inviting local community organizations to join us as free exhibitors as part of The Exchange — a space to showcase your work, share resources, and connect with residents eager to learn more about the support available in our community. Eligible groups include:
- Local non-profits;
- Grassroot organizations;
- Student groups;
- Affinity groups; and,
- Engagement network users.
