City of Raleigh's Community Engagement Van

Community Engagement Van

Making its way to neighborhoods, parks, and community events

The community engagement van will meet residents where they are by visiting neighborhoods, community events, and community gathering places. The City will use the engagement van to connect City staff with the community. City departments will use the engagement van to share information about upcoming projects in the area. City staff will be available to answer any questions and take any community feedback back to the project managers.

Raleigh residents can request that the community engagement van comes out to their neighborhood event. To request the engagement van please fill out the request form. A member of the Office of Community Engagement will follow up to confirm the reservation and review details.

This is just the start! Raleigh is making a long-term investment in a mobile city hall that will serve the community. The electric powered Community Engagement Vehicle is expected to be ready in 2025. This vehicle will provide four workstations for people to use to conduct city business such as paying utility bills, registering for classes, or applying for a job.

Don’t forget residents can request the Community Engagement Van to join their community event. Make your request today!
