Citizen Advisory Councils (CACs)
Raleigh CACs are a connecting point between municipal government and residents. They provide a way for the City to share information about government activities and to receive feedback from the communities.
Unlike other advisory bodies, CAC members are not appointed by the City Council, it is a volunteer led organization. CACs empower residents to shape the future of their communities while also serving as a key communication channel between residents and the city.
Every resident of Raleigh is automatically a member of their local CAC. Please contact the nearest CAC Chair for more information.
