Regional Smart City Movement: Connected Triangle+

Status and Next Steps The Launch: The Connected Triangle+ Summit (November 2023)

The Connected Triangle+ is a regional effort launched at our November 9, 2023 Summit.  Simply put, the Connected Triangle+ Partners envision a region where interconnected smart communities work together to create an extraordinary place to live, work, and visit—for everyone.

Status and Next Steps

Since the initial Summit, we have focused our vision and are identifying the use cases to build a connected and "smart" region.

A Workshop is being held on May 7 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Join the workshop to learn more about technology for a Connected Triangle+ and to design the use cases. Register for the workshop in advance!

During the Workshop we will focus on use cases to improve the measurement and tracking our local and regional Sustainability and Climate Plans —identifying how we can better measure and track improvement in each community and across the Triangle.

We are making tentative plans for The Connected Triangle+ Summit II to report on progress and continue to meet our goals. To stay in the loop, sign up for email alerts under the topic "Smart Raleigh."
