About the Connected Triangle+ Meetings, Events, and Summits

The Triangle, encompassing the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Combined Statistical Area, is one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation. Consistently rated among the top "best places" to live, the Triangle continues to thrive as a rapidly growing technology and business hub.

About the Connected Triangle+

Smart Raleigh is an integral part of a larger collaboration across communities in the Triangle Region, aimed at building a "smart" or Connected Triangle. Our vision recognizes that issues and opportunities do not adhere to city or town boundaries. Similarly, the potential to be "smart" extends beyond municipal borders. Beyond the confines of the Triangle, social and environmental challenges and opportunities persist, necessitating a broader, inclusive approach.

The Connected Triangle+ Partners understand that addressing these matters requires cross-border collaboration and innovative technological solutions to manage our infrastructure and serve our citizens effectively. As an example, our first project is monitoring and sharing with our communities local and regional air quality and heat data at the micro-scale. Learn more about Smart Raleigh projects.
