Start, Stop, or Transfer Utility Services
Complete online form to request start, stop, transfer, or meter set
To ensure the start process goes smoothly, please be aware of the following:
Allow five (5) business days to process your new service request.
Requests are performed weekdays during normal business hours.
Identity of the account holder will be verified for all new accounts.Examples of proof of identity include but are not limited to:
social security card;
valid driver’s license;
passport, state-issued photo id card; or,
lease/rental agreement.
Businesses must provide a tax identification number.
New accounts are required to pay a $50 service initiation fee.
New customers are required to pay a $50 deposit.
Before your service is connected, make sure all faucets are turned off and sink/tub stoppers are open to prevent accidental flooding.
Once your start service request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your new account number. You can then register your account through the Web Self Portal.
Customers are responsible for stopping their account and the final bill will be calculated from the last meter reading at the time services are disconnected.
If stopping your account, remember to update your mailing address.
There is a $50 fee if the property is not ready for a meter. There will be an additional $50 Meter Set Return Trip Fee (Not Ready) for each address that does not meet code.
