Neighborhood Traffic Management

Report a Traffic Management Concern

The Neighborhood Traffic Management process helps improve safety and quality of life on neighborhood streets by working with residents to address traffic concerns. When a concern is reported, staff collect and review traffic data to better understand the issue and identify solutions that fit the street and surrounding neighborhood.

Depending on the results, improvements may include speed limit reductions, traffic calming features such as speed humps, traffic circles, and curb extensions, intersection safety improvements, or changes to traffic and parking regulations. Every recommendation is guided by the goal of creating safer, more comfortable streets for everyone who walks, bikes, drives, or uses transit while supporting speeds that better match posted speed limits.
