During March, we collaborate with other agencies across the state and the Clean Water Education Partnership to celebrate Regional Creek Week! We hosted events, workshops, and other activities to promote healthy creeks, streams, and rivers.

Regional Creek Week 2025 Summary

Stream Cleanups

• 116 volunteers participated in seven total events (including resident-led adopt a stream cleanups)
• 3,103 pounds of trash collected throughout Raleigh streams

Workshops

• 22 participants at the Lions Park Mosaic Workshop
• Seven participants at the Rain Garden/Rain Barrel Workshop

Biothon Bingo

• Eight in-person and 35 remote participants
• 42 observations and 29 species identified. View the results
