Construction will begin March 2025. We will then do tree removal, erosion control, and tree and construction fencing  installation. Road closures are going to impact the community, but traffic detours will be posted. The duration of the construction is approximately 10 months which puts the completion in early 2026.

Construction has begun and will continue through Summer 2025 (with some planting in Fall 2025).

Raleigh Stormwater is repairing eight locations of stormwater pipes and drainage issues. Six of those locations are stormwater system repair projects and two locations are drainage assistance projects. Visit the City-Wide Lining project website for a list of the locations and design details.

Work hours will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no work scheduled on the weekend, except in an emergency or with prior approval from the City. Residents will be notified if such schedule changes need to take place. We do not anticipate needing to close the road to through traffic.

We anticipate some flagging and light traffic control for operations primarily related to the liner delivery and installation. Local traffic (residents within the work zone) will have access to their driveways and will be able to come and go as needed. Please don’t park on the street within and near the construction area for the duration of construction.
