Night Work Scheduled on South Blount Street

The Raleigh Water Capital Improvement Program will perform night work on South Blount Street between Edenton Street and Morgan Street from Wednesday, May 13, through Friday, May 15, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night.

One lane will remain open for southbound traffic; however, motorists should expect overnight lane closures, intermittent traffic control changes and possible delays through the work zone. On-street parking will not be available during work hours.

For their safety and the safety of crews, motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the work zone and to use alternate routes when possible. Water service interruptions are not expected. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this work.
