Yorkgate Drive Stormwater Improvements

Channel Repairs

A sinkhole formed from channel scour occurring at the outlet of the concrete box culvert in the driveway of 2001 Yorkgate Drive. In addition, the concrete pad constructed on the channel banks, as part of a previous City CIP project, was undermined due to mobilization of boulders that once protected the channel bed and banks.

Stormwater Management developed a new design and completed an alternative that involved the construction of a boulder wall system on either channel bank.
