Whispering Branch and Woodowl Drainage Project

We are designing stream and stormwater improvements of Hare Snipe Creek between Whispering Branch Road and Woodowl Drive. Both roads provide a one-way in and one-way out access for residents. Roadway overtopping during storms is frequent and can prevent vehicles from safely crossing the road.

We began designing project improvements. Design considerations include raising both roads, deepening the channel, increasing the stormwater pipes sizes under Whispering Branch Road and Woodowl Drive, or constructing bridges for the two stream crossings.
