Due to some Stormwater work completed in the area we needed to revise our design plans. We completed a geotechnical investigation to determine size and location of rock, allowing the team to finalizing the drainage design along the road.  

The design plans were approved by Development Services in Sept. 2023. 

Construction on this project is complete.

Construction Update, August 2024

Crews are working on the new storm drain system. A new storm drain system includes the installation of storm pipes that will run under the road, as well as large storm boxes to catch the water from the street during rain events. This work requires a large amount of digging, which will make the roadway unsafe for vehicle and pedestrian traffic. For your safety and that of the construction crew, please do not enter the work zone.   

Due to the nature of this project, there is a road closure and detour in place during the project. See below for the detour map. There is no through traffic, but residents living in the construction zone will have access to their property.
