Rose Lane Safe Access Flood Resilience Project

Roadway Flood Mitigation

Rose Lane serves approximately 54 residential homes located on four connecting streets and has a history of roadway and bridge flooding. Walnut Creek passes under Rose Lane and is part of the FEMA floodplain. The Rose Lane bridge overtops with water during severe storms, which creates a public safety issue as the roadway becomes impassable. We are planning to improve the safety and access for the community during major storms and heavy rain.
