Planning

The banks of the stream are severely eroding near the property. The erosion is approximately 15-inches from the home foundations and fences along the swale collapsed due to erosion.

Project Goals

  • Prevent further loss of land and potential loss of property along the stream at Quail Ridge Road.

Project Surveying

  • Surveying and design will be managed by WSP and should be completed by Summer 2025.

Design

The eroded stream is the outlet of a large storm pipe that drains Quail Ridge Road. Design for this project is not determined, but will either be a stream stabilization project that rebuilds and armors the stream between the homes, or the stream may be piped between the homes and armored at the further pipe outlet.
