Give Play is an initiative supported by the City of Oaks Foundation and Raleigh Parks with the goal of removing cost as a barrier for getting youth engaged in nature camp programs.

City of Oaks Foundation Give Play Program

Learn more about the City of Oaks Foundation and the Give Play Financial Assistance Program. The City of Oaks Foundation is a nonprofit conservation organization that is closely aligned with Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. The foundation funds Give Play which underwrites financial assistance for children to participate in summer camps and nature programs. This program gives children an opportunity to explore nature and the outdoors in a way they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do.

How to Apply

Camps will be awarded based on the financial need of the applicant, availability of funds, and/or availability of spaces in eligible camps.

Completed applications can be:

  • Emailed to fee.assistance@raleighnc.gov
  • Or mailed to:

Campers who are awarded financial assistance will not be charged for camp, however, there is a $10 deposit required, which will be refunded upon completion of the camp week.
