Wakefield Trail Improvements

Phase 2 - Rosalie Street to Old Falls of Neuse Road

The Wakefield Trail is a segment of greenway trail located in North Raleigh and connects from Old Falls of Neuse Road to London Bell Drive. This trail is located within the communities of Wakefield, Savannah Village, and Stratford Hall, parallel to the Wakefield Golf Course and within a Duke Energy facility.

The project area is located between Old Falls of Neuse Road and Rosalie Street, and is approximately 1/2 mile in length. Improvements include repaving and regrading of the existing 8-feet wide trail. Improvements to the section of Wakefield Trail from Rosalie Street to London Bell Drive (Phase 1) were completed as part of the 2014 Parks Bond.
