Raleigh Parks Volunteer Services Program offers scouting projects for earning Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, or Gold Awards, Eagle Scout Awards, Adventure Scout Awards, Quartermaster Awards and more. Scouts must meet the requirements listed in the Scout Policies and Procedures Handbook to complete a project with the department. To receive this document, please contact Rachel Van Noordt. Below is a list of approved projects for those looking to earn a scouting award.

Kiosk Build | Shelley Lake | Build and install a kiosk for the park to display helpful information for the public. |
Trail Enhancements | Annie Louise Wilkerson Nature Preserve | Enhance visitor hiking safety and protect habitats surrounding the trails by adding trail-border logs and improving the surface. |
The projects listed above have been identified as needs by staff, and have been approved. Scouts may submit a new project, but must include as many details as possible so it can be approved by staff. Please allow extra time for this process.
