Important Ticket Information

Tickets are required for each ride in Pullen Park. Tickets are $2.00 per person. Children under one year ride for free with paying adults. Ticket sales close 15 minutes prior to the ride's closing. Cashiers may not be available. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance on RecLink.

Pullen Park Amusements hours will vary depending on the season. Some rides may close early due to darkness or inclement weather.

Junior Conductor Adventure

  • Purchase your tickets in person.  $7 per family/compass
  • Geared towards families with children ages 5-12
  • Pick up your smart compass and let the kids navigate you around the park with this new wearable technology.  Once you find the spot you've been searching for, your phone will synch up to the compass to display some fun historical facts about the park and give you some exciting activities to complete.  
  • Look for other adventures in the future such as nature, fitness, trees, and more!
  • This experience is self-guided and expected to last between 30-45 minutes

  • From 1911, the Gustave A. Dentzel Carousel is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
  • The ride requires one ticket per person.
  • Must be 42 inches tall to ride alone, if under 42 inches a parent/guardian must ride with them and both require a ticket.

Kiddie Boats

  • The Kiddie Boats will be closed for the season starting Dec. 2 and will reopen in February/March 2025.
  • Ride requires one ticket per person.
  • Only the ride operator is permitted inside the fenced ride area while the ride is in motion.
  • Riders must be between 30" and 54" to ride.

Train

  • C.P. Huntington miniature train, a one-third size, near-replica of the famous locomotive of the same name.
  • Ride requires one ticket per person.
  • Must be 42 inches tall to ride alone, if under 42 inches a parent/guardian must ride with them and both require a ticket.
  • The train closes around sunset each night.

Pedal Boats

  • The pedal boats will be closed for the season starting Nov. 11.
  • Ride around Lake Howell.
  • The boats require a separate ticket ($7) for the use of one boat for up to 30 minutes.

Swing Area: (All ages) 10 traditional belt swings for all ages, 1 preschool full-bucket seat swing, 1 accessible molded bucket swing, and 1 tire swing

School Age Climb and Slide: (5-12 years old) 2 universally accessible slides, 6 climbing opportunities, 1 see-saw, and 1 shade structure

Sand Play: (2-12 years old) 2 sand diggers, 1 accessible sand digger, 2 shade structures, 1 playhouse, Music making equipment and stage, and 1 accessible spring platform

Preschool Playground: (2-5 years old) Enclosed by a positive barrier of fence and vegetation, 3 slides,1 preschool full-bucket seat swing,1 accessible molded bucket swing, 1 see-saw, stepping stones, and 2 shade structures

For daily updated ride operations, please call 919-996-6472. The information on the phone line will be updated around 10:30 a.m. daily.

From Nov. 29 to Dec. 19, Pullen Amusements will be closed. The park grounds will be open until 4 p.m. each event day. No picnic shelters will be available. Please be sure to visit the Chavis Carousel during their operating hours throughout this period.
