Cambridge Woods Way Drainage Improvements

Drainage Assistance and Sidewalk Improvements

We are repairing the stormwater system near Cambridge Woods Way. Properties experience flooding from the way stormwater runoff flows in this area.  Water goes:

  • From Yarmouth Road, Chesterfield Road, and Edenburgh Road;
  • To the intersection of Lake Boone Trail and Edenburgh Road; and,
  • To backyards on Cambridge Woods Way.

The Lake Boone Trail Street and Sidewalk Project is being completed with the drainage improvements.

Drainage Improvements

We are working on the design, which will upgrade stormwater pipes on Lake Boone Trail to reduce the:

  • Amount of water on the public street; and,
  • Flooding concerns at properties on Cambridge Woods Way.

Sidewalk Improvements

This project is being combined with the Lake Boone Trail Street and Sidewalk Project. Staff plan to pave install curb and gutter, add drainage improvements and construct a five-foot-wide sidewalk on a three-and-a-half-foot typical setback from the new curb along both sides of the street completing missing gaps from Edenburgh Road to the Glenwood Avenue Service Road.
