Former DMV Site Working Group

The Project Working Group was created to help guide the redevelopment of the former DMV site in Southeast Raleigh. In March 2024, 12 community members were chosen from a group of applicants to join this team. Their role includes identifying opportunities to highlight Raleigh’s community and cultural history within the project, determining which community priorities should be reflected in the development criteria, and actively participating in engagement efforts with the community.

Meeting information

Monthly PWG meetings have concluded as of June 2025. The PWG will now meet quarterly to review progress and share updates.
