The Project Working Group was created to help guide the redevelopment of the former DMV site in Southeast Raleigh. In March 2024, 12 community members were chosen from a group of applicants to join this team. Their role includes identifying opportunities to highlight Raleigh’s community and cultural history within the project, determining which community priorities should be reflected in the development criteria, and actively participating in engagement efforts with the community. Learn more about the project working group members.

Meeting information

The group meets every second Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Martin Street Baptist Church (211 South State St.). There will be no meeting in December 2024 due to the holidays. Meetings will pick back up in January 2025.
