About the Artists
Taylor White is a Raleigh-based painter and muralist whose work explores the tension between structure and spontaneity. Known for large-scale public installations that blend realism and abstraction, her compositions transform color and gesture into immersive spatial experiences. With major commissions for projects such as Hub RTP, Tysons Corner Center, Jamestown LP, and Mack Real Estate Group, her public commissions include multiple large-scale installations across corporate, municipal, and mixed-use developments.
Gabriel Eng-Goetz is an award-winning visual artist and designer whose work examines cultural identity, community, and the way visual storytelling can shape a shared sense of place. Based in Durham, he has created site-specific installations and murals throughout the Southeast. His large-scale public art projects, commissioned by cities, universities, and private developers, combine narrative, pattern, and natural motifs to celebrate local heritage and collective memory.
Matt McConnell is a sculptor, designer, and founder of McConnell Studios, an interdisciplinary fabrication studio recognized for merging art, architecture, and engineering. His practice explores how natural forces of growth, motion, and transformation can be expressed through durable sculptural form. Since establishing his studio in 2001, he has led more than 500 public and private commissions across the United States and abroad, and his work spans a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, glass, light, and composite structures.
