The Community Journaling Project

Pullen Arts Center is a participating site for this collaborative book project

Pullen Arts Center is excited to announce that it will be a site for The Community Journaling Project! Everyone is welcome to join, and we encourage you to share this opportunity with your creative friends.

The Community Journaling Project is an ongoing, interactive bookmaking initiative that shows that art is for everyone. The project is lead by artist Jennifer Sandry of Ink and Axe

How to participate

Both partner sites have pages available for pickup, and you can also use your own materials within the specified size (4" x 6"). Once you’ve completed your pages, please return them to the dropbox at either of the locations listed below. The artists will collect all the pages and create a book by folding them in half, combining them with others, and binding them using a long Coptic stitch.

More about the project and artist.

“Art is about the process and the meaning for the individual. This project will show how wonderful every mind is and to hopefully inspire one another.” Jennifer Sandry
