What you need to know about the new customer billing portal

We are thrilled to introduce our completely revamped customer billing portal, set to launch on November 12, 2025. 

Raleigh Water heard you want more control over your payments, and we're excited to offer an improved ePortal. This upgrade will make it easier to manage your account, providing a more user-friendly experience that's more secure than ever. 

This new portal will allow you to pay your bill, update your details, and request services at any time and from any location. Additionally, we are incorporating a new "My Request" feature right within the portal, enabling us to track your requests more effectively.

Please note that the call center will be closed on November 10, 2025 for the upgrade (and on November 11 for the holiday).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Using autopay? You must re-enroll. If you are currently enrolled in autopay, you must register again in the new portal before your next payment date after the November 12th rollout or make a payment using another method. Registering in the new portal will ensure your payments are uninterrupted.

Meet with an expert in person. We will host community events in November and December where you can get direct assistance with the new portal and have your questions answered.

Multiple Options to Pay. We understand that everyone prefers different ways to pay their bills, so we’ve made sure to provide you with plenty of choices! You can mail a check, visit our downtown Raleigh office or any town hall in our merger communities (Garner, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell or Zebulon) to pay in person, or even make a payment at your nearby Walmart. You can also make a one-time payment through the Raleigh Water Self-Service portal.

What to Expect During the Transition in November

The current system will NOT be available during the transition.

Web Self-Service will be unavailable on November 10-11, 2025. 

Customers will NOT be able to make in-person payments during the transition.

Please note that all payment options will be paused from November 7 through November 11, 2025. This includes in-person payments.
