Traffic alert: Sewer work, road closures

Plan ahead if traveling near Litchford Road, Rowland Road or E. Sycamore Street. Temporary road closures for sewer maintenance may cause traffic impacts and delays.

E. Sycamore Street will be closed between N. Gill Street and N. Whitley Street on Monday, Aug. 31. Litchford Road will be impacted at the intersection of Rowland Road on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Detours will be in place, and drivers should follow posted traffic advisories.

Construction crews will be working in the roadway. Drivers should follow posted detours, slow down and use extra caution when approaching the work zones.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Work is weather permitting.
