S. Blount Street Lane Closure

Plan ahead if traveling on S. Blount Street in downtown Raleigh. A lane closure may cause traffic impacts and delays.

Wednesday, Sept. 9 | 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

S. Blount Street: Between E. Cabarrus Street and E. Lenoir Street

S. Blount Street will have a lane closure during work hours, with one lane remaining open for southbound traffic. No street parking will be available during the work period.

Construction crews will be working in the roadway. Drivers should slow down, follow posted traffic advisories and use extra caution when approaching the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and allow extra time for travel.
