Rico Boyce, Deputy Chief of Administration for Raleigh Police Department
Deputy Chief Rico Boyce began his law enforcement career in April of 2000 as part of the Raleigh Police Department’s 76th Police Academy. Deputy Chief Boyce has worked in multiple divisions during his career. His leadership, community engagement and work ethic has accelerated him through the ranks within RPD.
His academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pfeiffer University. Aside from traditional education, he also attended the Administrative Officers Management Program at North Carolina State University (82nd Session) and the prestigious FBI National Academy (Session 284) in Quantico, VA.
