About the Project
A new sidewalk is coming to Pecan Road, filling gaps between transit stops and sidewalks on the south side of South Saunders and South Wilmington streets.
How We’re Delivering the Project
The City is using Progressive Design-Build, a new approach to delivering projects. With this approach, the City works with the design and construction teams from the start of the project.
The teams develop the plans together, work through project details, and prepare for construction before fieldwork begins. The City selected Crowder Construction and Dewberry to design and build five sidewalk improvements across Raleigh.
