Hydro-Demo Bridge Preservation Project

Rehabilitation of two City of Raleigh bridges

As of early December 2020, the City of Raleigh is halfway done with our first-ever, hydro-demo bridge preservation project in the Crabtree Creek area.  This project is expected to continue to impact traffic until the end of February 2021. Schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.

This project is being done through Transportation’s bi-annual Bridge Management Program. This will be the first hydro-demo bridge preservation project for the City of Raleigh.

The two bridges are:

  • Lassiter Mill Road Bridge #334, located on Lassiter Mill Road over Crabtree Creek between Six Forks and Glenwood; and
  • Anderson Drive Bridge #343, located on Anderson Drive over Crabtree Creek between Glenwood Avenue and Six Forks Road.
